ANDREA SANGIACOMO
I worked extensively on early modern Western philosophy and science, especially on authors such as Baruch Spinoza, and on topics such as causation and emotions.
Since 2018, I've been interested in ancient Indian contemplative practices. I started from the Pāli discourses of the Buddha, then explored later Buddhist traditions and other Indian approaches, including Yoga and medieval non-dual Tantra.
My vision consists in articulating a cross-culturally inspired philosophical reflection on the human condition, drawing from contemplative practices and based on embodied experience.
